Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord…

No, not the song and ,no, not that Noah….9 year-old Noah at our church Sunday gave his heart to Jesus! So awesome!!!

We had 101 in SS. Some of us had a blast forming an impromptu quartet as we helped out Riley Hipps on “He Saw It All” for special music.

Bro. Todd preached an awesome yet challenging sermon. He asked “What Should the Church Look Like?” He asked if we would be a church that said “come and see” or if we’d be a church that would “go and be.” Meaning…for a long time, the main focus of the church was getting people inside the walls (and that will still be a focus for sure)…but most “lost” people are not coming through the church doors. We were challenged to not just come to church but to go out and be the church!!! To go to where the lost are and tell them about Jesus as we’re going.

There are so many ways to “go and be” and it’s not a cookie-cutter thing…be in prayer with us as we find the best way to reach people in and around Keiser, AR.

Decisions, decisions…

it’s a good thing when they come at invitation time!!!

Well, we were really down in SS for some reason…81. ewwww! hahaha. Keep inviting and living the life!!!

Service started with a bang…Callie Brister was baptized right at the beginning of worship! I love to start worship like that!!!

I got to sing one of my favorite songs, “The Rock” by the Crist Family. This is when I had to leave church…my sister-in-law, Kathy (Routon) Brothers went into labor. Wasn’t far into the afternoon that we welcomed John Brody Brothers into the world…all 21in. 7lbs 8oz of him!

I knew what Bro. Todd was preaching on though. He preached on getting past the obstacles to get people to Jesus. At FBC Keiser, we no longer have “members”…we have “partners” in Christ…to serve and do life together!!! We are asking every single “partner” in our church to sign up for a ministry team! Be praying about which one you’ll be a part of. It’s time to go to work!

Bro. Todd told me that we had 2 make their decisions public to rededicate their lives – Lee Ann Bell and Katie McLaughlin! So proud of everyone that made decisions. Truly, we should rededicate ourselves to the Lord each and every day by dying to self and taking up our cross and following Jesus!!!
